Wilma "Willie" Claire Brockett, 92, of Plano Texas, formerly of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Prestonwood Court in Plano, Texas. She was born on July 20, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Chares and Clara (Spiewac) Souish. Willie married Samuel Stanley Brockett on February 16, 1957, and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1994.

A private graveside service for Wilma Brockett will be held at West Union Cemetery in Carmi. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
