     Whitney Nicole Scott, 37, of Shawneetown passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born in Evansville, IN on November 16, 1988, the daughter of Ronald Dean Stokes and Sherry L. Hall. Whitney attended Gallatin County Schools and later graduated from King’s Word School in Norris City. She was the store manager at Wood’s Corner Connivence Store at Junction. Whitney grew up and attended New Beginning Church of God with her parents. She enjoyed traveling and going on road trips, writing poems, cooking and her dog, Blaze.

     Whitney is survived by her parents, Sherry and Irvin Hall of Shawneetown; siblings, Brandie (Jason) Cooper of Kankakee, IL, Paul Edward Hall of Shawneetown and Thomas Wayne (Jessica) Hall of Bowling Green, KY; grandparents, Ronnie and Euna Stokes of Norris City and Daisy Hall of Shawneetown; Nieces and nephews, Drake and Mia Cooper, Alex and Allie Hall and Ember Hall; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death a son, Ivan Kendrix Hall, her father, Ronald Dean Stokes, grandparents, Linda and Donald Hall and Jim Hall and a special uncle Willie Glad.

     Funeral services for Whitney Nicole Scott, 37, of Shawneetown will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2026, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will follow in Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Donations may be made at the funeral home, via Venmo @jordanfuneralgroup or online at www.jordanfuneralgroup.com
