Vonda Lou Frymire Sturgal

Vonda Lou Sturgal, 83, of Springerton, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. She was born on October 27, 1937, the daughter of Loren and Beulah Murl (Sanders) Frymire. Vonda was a member of Springerton Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Vonda is survived by her children, Vonda (Mike) Champion of Springerton, IL., Carla (Terry) Rush of Springerton, IL., Eddie Sturgal of Washington, Jeff Sturgal of Carmi, IL., Carl Sturgal of Carmi, IL., and Greg (Sherry) Sturgal of Carmi, IL.; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; siblings, John L. Frymire, Lee Frymire, Kevin Brand, Mary Curtis, and Thomas Frymire. She is preceded in death by her parents; great grandchildren, Gage Aaron Rush, Curtis Michael Champion, and Katilyn Sturgal; and siblings, Brenda Berry, Connie Frymire, Marilyn Maughan, John Morris Frymire, Loren "Huck" Frymire, Allan Brand, Loretta Frymire and Daisy Wilson.

Graveside Funeral Services and burial for Vonda Sturgal will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Springerton Cemetery in Springerton IL. Contributions can be made in Vonda's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Kidney Association and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield, who is in charge of arrangements.
