Vonda Sue (Duvall) Bingman, 79, of Carmi passed away at 11:30am, on Sunday May 17, 2020 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville Indiana. She was born in Carmi, Illinois on June 3, 1940, the daughter of Theodore and Ada (Stuart) Duvall. She married Louis Ackerman Bingman on September 6, 1958. Vonda grew up in Georgia General Baptist Church and was a member at The Roads Church in Norris City, Illinois. Vonda worked as a secretary at ASCS for 25 years as well as O'Daniel Trucking. She enjoyed catering parties and gatherings with her sister Wanda. She spent time volunteering with her husband at the Chapel at Wabash Christian Village once a month. Vonda also cherished her time that she spent with family and friends.
Vonda is survived by her husband of 61 years; a son, Tony Bingman of Norris City; a daughter Connie (Jeff) Kisner of Carmi; a brother, David (Janet) Duvall of Carmi; two sisters Marilyn Hawkins and her twin Wanda Buttery both of Carmi, and a grandson Koby Kisner
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carolyn Joyce Embry.
Private graveside services for Vonda Sue Bingman will be held at Kukendall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Vonda's memory to the Carmi Public Library.
