Tyson Brandon

January 24, 1964 — February 13, 2022

Tyson Shane Brandon age 58, of Crossville, Illinois, passed away on February 13, 2022, at  Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Tyson was born to Everett and Loretta Brandon on January 24, 1964, in McLeansboro, IL. Survived by wife Kim Brandon of 38 years and son Rocky (Miranda) Brandon; grandchildren, Zane and Xander Brandon; Sisters, Kim (Ron) Cruse and Heather (Joe) Nadasi. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tyson was a caring husband, father, and grandpa who loved the outdoors. He loved spending time with and spoiling his grandsons. His hobbies revolved around building and driving anything fast. He loved exploring on his ATVs (side-by-sides), building and repairing trucks and cars, and making all of them go faster! He had a mechanical mind and a creative hand that allowed him to build or fix just about anything. He spent many years working in the oil field business and most recently 10 years at Lamont Trucking. He will be missed by many.

A casual gathering to celebrate the life of Tyson Brandon will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  Please come share memories, stories and the good times we experienced through the wonderful years Tyson was with us.  We have honored Tyson’s wishes to be cremated, so there will be no formal showing or service.  We welcome any and all who wish to stop by, to stay as little or as long as you like. A private family burial will be held in Centerville Cemetery in Carmi.
