Treva Joann Garlick

   Treva Joann Garlick, 85, of Norris City passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at her residence. She was born on October 7, 1941 in Norris City to Ralph and Violet (Blake) Kimmel. Treva married Paul Lee Garlick on August 23, 1963 and they shared over 30 years of marriage until his passing on October 28, 1993. Her favorite hobby to do in her free time was quilting.

   Treva is survived by her son, Greg Garlick of Herrin, IL; grandsons, Jacob and Jonah Garlick of Herrin, IL; brother, Michael Kimmel of Mississippi; nephews, Carey Kimmel, Lancen Long, and Morgan Heyman; niece, Jessica Herrell. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Quinten Kimmel.

   Graveside Funeral Services for Treva Joann Garlick, 85, of Norris City will be private. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Treva’s memory to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi at 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
