Susie Campbell

   Susie Campbell, 82, of Norris City passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born on June 2, 1943 in McLeansboro, IL the daughter of Sidney Marion and Minnie Lee (Anderson) Kinsey. Susie married Bobbie “Bob” Joe Campbell on September 20, 1963 and they shared over 45 years of marriage together until his death on April 17, 2009. Susie’s main hobbies were reading and spending time with her son.

   Susie is survived by her son, David Bryan Campbell of Mt. Vernon, IN; brother-in-law, Jack Campbell; grandson, Devin Michael Campbell; nieces, Cathy Newman and Nancy Allen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two siblings Ray Kinsey and Fay Newman.

   Graveside funeral services and burial for Susie Campbell, 82, of Norris City will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Campbell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
