Sheryl Lynn Leadingham, 43, of Dwight, Illinois, Passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Morris Hospital. Sheryl was born on April 7, 1977, in Crown Point, Indiana the daughter of Jeff and Shirley (Sago) Weedman. She married Jason Leadingham on November 15, 1998, in Sheldon, Illinois. Sheryl was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Carmi, Illinois and The Pentecostals of Sparta, Tennessee. Sheryl enjoyed being outdoors, going camping and fishing. She loved her family greatly and spent much time with them, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Sheryl is survived by three daughters, Sebrina (Deangelo) Dee of Kankakee, IL. Rachael Davison of Doyle, TN. and Kristina (Robert) Crocker of Dwight, IL.; five brothers, Ron Weedman of Norris City, IL, Jeff (Brittany) Weedman of Tennessee, Robert Weedman of Grayville, IL, Danny (Anita) Weedman of Crossville, IL and Johnny (Heather) Weedman of Walling, TN; two sisters, Debbie Weedman of Norris City, IL and Amanda Schroeder of Norris City, IL.; five grandchildren, Amyiah Grace and Zayd Matthew Crocker, Rylynn and Jayson Davison and Eva Marsh; and nine nieces and three nephews. She is also survived by her second family the Paradays. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jeremiah Weedman; father-in-law, Mike Leadingham and a niece Paisley Hurley.
Graveside services for Sheryl Lynn Leadingham will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Norris City with Rev. Richard Giles and Rev. Michael Weedman Officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Sheryl's memory for funeral expenses and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements. In accordance with CDC and IDPH social distancing will be observed and wearing masks will be a requirement.
