Sandi Slankard, 57, of Carmi passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 8:25 am at her residence. She was born June 30, 1955 in Carmi the daughter of William E. and Ermal (Burris) Dial. Sandi was a 1973 graduate of Carmi Community High School, worked at Wal Mart as a stocker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Carmi.
Sandi is survived by a daughter, Alyssa Slankard of Carmi; a sister, Diana Bowles of Carmi; two nephews, Jason Frailey and Nicholas Bowles and her beloved cats, Gypsy and Patches.
Funeral Services for Sandi Slankard, 57, of Carmi will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Kingdom Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi on Monday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
