Sallie Crumméy

Sallie Ray Crumméy, 63, of Carmi, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Carmi Manor.  She was born on June 24, 1958, the daughter of James F. and Kathleen Mabel (Anderson) Crumméy.  Sallie worked as a Nursing Assistant in Melbourne, Florida for many years.  She married Robert Darling, and he survives.  Sallie enjoyed and loved her cats.

In addition to her husband, Robert Darling of Carmi, IL, Sallie is survived by her children; Michael and Marie; step-children, Kevin and Sherry; 15 grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Woodmansee of Palm Bay, FL.  She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Cindy Robertson and Karen Crumméy.

Private funeral services for Sallie Ray Crummey will be held at a later date.  Contributions can be made in Sallie's memory to Pets At Risk and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
