Russell Allen Stearns, 40, of Evansville died 11:43AM,Thursday, October 21, 2004at his home after a lengthy illness. Russell was born November 10, 1963 in Evansville, IN. Russell was an Electric Motor Mechanic at Flanders Electric in Evansville, IN. He was also a NASCAR fan. Russell was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father Earl Hatcher in 2002.
Russell is survived by his wife Gayle (Leishman) Stearns of Evansville, IN; sons, Shawn Stearns and Kyle Stearns of Evansville; 2 daughters, Lexi and Cierra Rosie Stearns of Evansville; his mother, Pat Hatcher of Chandler; a brother and sister in law, Randy and Cheryal Stearns of Wadesville, IN, several nieces and nephews,aunts, uncles, cousins
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 25, 2004 at Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial will be in the Wolfinger Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Austin Funeral Home.
