Ronald Shelton

Ronald E. Shelton 72 of Enfield, passed away Monday September 7, 2020 at Rest Haven Manor in Albion. He was born April 28, 1948 in Edwards County, the son of Louis and Harriett (Hodgson) Shelton. He married Shirley Price on February 14, 1975 at the Ridge Baptist Church in Grayville.

Ron worked in the Warehouse at Wabash Valley Services until his retirement. He loved to play Dominos. He served as a Deacon at Ridge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his son, Ronald E. (Lindsey) Shelton II; grandsons, Bryce and Jacob Shelton; brothers, J.C. (Marilyn) Shelton and Robert (Donna) Shelton; sisters, Jane (David) Harris and Sally (Bruce) Rose. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his son, William Howell.

Graveside services will be held at Noon on Thursday September 10, 2020 at Enfield Cemetery with Rev. Don Mobley officiating. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com.
