Ronald Joe Culp, 65, of Carmi, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at his residence. He was born on August 18, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Walter and Margaret E. (Phelps) Culp. He loved Jesus with all his heart and often shared his testimony of being delivered from alcoholism. Ron volunteered at Cherry Street Food Pantry for many years and loved singing Victory in Jesus. Ron was a valued member of the community at Evergreen Acres in Carmi and will be missed by his friends and neighbors.

Ron is survived by his two children, who he loved immensely, Rosmarie Lynn Culp and Ronald Joe Culp, Jr; and his adopted family Kyle, Holley, Lyric and Fox Hosick, who cherished and cared for him. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A service celebrating the life of Ronald Culp for family and friends will be held at a later date. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is assisting the family with arrangements.
