Robyn R. White

Robyn White of Carmi, IL died peacefully on December 22, 2025 at the Linda E White HospiceHouse in Evansville, IN after a lengthy illness with cancer. She was born on September 26, 1960 in Atoka, OK.

Robyn left behind her siblings, Rodney White of Carbondale, IL and Rhonda Smith of Carbondale, IL; niece, Courtney (Steve Sawyer) Smith and nephew, Dylan Smith of Carbondale, IL; great niece, Kate Weihl of Florida; aunt, Donna Kaye Land of Carmi, IL. and uncle, Alan D. (Linda) White of Thornton, CO; cousins; Michelle Land (Robin) Harris, of Carmi and L. Kristin (Jared Blaylock) Land of New Harmony, IN; Rory Harris, Kit Harris and Landry Blaylock; Bryn Boatman; Annette (Roser) Carter.

Robyn is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Don White; and a sister, Alice Marie Flaherty-White.

She loved growing flowers, especially iris. Robyn liked to spend time with friends and family, photography, shopping for antique and vintage treasures, making crafts, and taking road trips. Her fun sense of humor was present in her laugh and smile, balanced by her ability to argue with a brick wall. Before illness set in, she kept and loved companion pets she had over the years, including dogs Callie and Missy.

A celebration of Robyn will be held at a later date. One of Robyn's last wishes was to not be sad of her death, and for everyone to tell those they care about that they are loved. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all of Robyn's doctors, nurses, caretakers and friends that prolonged her life and helped on her journey. Donations in Robyn’s memory can be made to Pets at Risk in Carmi and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St. Carmi, Il 62821 who is assisting the family with arrangements.
