Robert A. Grant, Jr., 62, of Maunie passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018. He was born in Carmi, IL on June 15, 1955 the son of Robert Arnold Grant, Sr., and Luwanda (Britt) Grant. Robert married Dawn M. Minder on November 1, 2008. He worked as a truck driver and in construction.
Robert is survived by his wife of 9 years, Dawn; four sisters, Deb Young of Carmi, Kim Johnson of Kokomo, IN, Pat Grant of Grayville and Dixie Grant of Bloomington, IL; two brothers, David W. Grant of Kokomo and Frank Grant of Texas; two children, Felica Grant and Franklin Grant both of Kokomo; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 11 nieces and seven nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robert A. Grant, III; a grandchild, Skyler W. Grant; and a niece LuWanda K. Morrison.
Private services were held with burial in Kuykendall Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi was in charge of arrangements.
