Raymond "Ray" Francis Healy

   Raymond "Ray" Francis Healy, 74, of Norris City, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at his residence. He was born on March 11, 1951, in Houston, TX, the son of Raymond Felix and Mary Ann (Butler) Healy. Raymond married Marsha Ann (Allen) Healy on March 19, 1974, and together they shared 51 years of marriage. He held various jobs, including traveling the world as a U.S. Merchant Marine and working around the country as a heavy equipment operator in the Laborers’ International Union. He was a member of the Mcleansboro Elks Lodge #1882. In Raymond's free time, he enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and watching the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Cubs. He also loved spending time with his friends and family, particularly with his grandchildren.

   Raymond is survived by his wife, Marsha Healy of Norris City, children, Kimberly (Zachary) Douglas of Eldorado, IL and Justin Healy of Norris City, IL; grandchildren, Jason Healy, Sidney Wheeler, and Soloman Douglas; siblings, Betty Lemoine, Lois Page, Margaret Homan, and Paula Leaver; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Shannen Healy and siblings, Jimmy and Carroll Healy.

   A private memorial service for Raymond "Ray" Francis Healy will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Raymond's honor to your favorite charity, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
