Raymond Blunk

Raymond A. Blunk, 62, of Mt. Vernon, died at 1:35 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born January 23, 1943 in Vincennes, IN son of John and Susie E. (Pollock) Blunk. He was a member of Point Township Church of The Nazarene and retired from Whirlpool Corp. in 1994 after 32 years. He was a former member of the Warrick County Saddle Club and Trained and Showed Horses. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ray is survived by his wife, Susie Carroll Blunk of Mt. Vernon; sons, James Blunk of Evansville and Daniel Blunk of Boonville; step-daughter Donna Sue Gregory of Mt. Vernon; his sister Mary Arbuthnot of Ft. Branch, IN and 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, James II, William, Josha, Johnathon, and Tanner Blunk.Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 29, 2005 at Point Township Church of The Nazarene with Rev. Troy DeKemper and Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions be made to Point Township Church of The Nazarene Building Fund.
