Ralph E. Hucker, 87, of Burnt Prairie passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 4:54 pm at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. He was born December 6, 1924 in Mill Shoals, IL the son of Levi Harrison and Silva Ann (Nelson) Hucker. Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II, was a retired Mail Carrier from the U.S.P.S and a member of Ashland Christian Church.
Ralph is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Barbara Hucker of Carmi; a sister-in-law, Faye Hucker of Carmi and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Ralph E. Hucker, of Burnt Prairie will be Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Private burial will be in Melrose Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call at the Campbell Funeral Home on Thursday after 5:00 pm. Memorial Contributions can be made in Ralph's name to Ashland Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
