Paulette Whetstone, 56, of Carmi passed away at 4:09 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Phoenix Nursing and Rehab. She was born September 7, 1957 in Carmi, IL the daughter of Clement Ambrose and Fern (Fromm) Unfried. Paulette had worked as a receptionist and was a member of Crossroads Bible Church.
Paulette is survived by two daughters, Emily Whetstone and Blair Whetstone both of Carmi; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Clara Ward of Carmi, Louise Nance of Mt. Vernon, IL, Bonne and Matthew Daly of Dallas, TX, and Marianne and Steve Schweizer of Evansville, IN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Anna Unfried of California and Ray and Cheryl Unfried of Allendale, IL; a grandson, Jaxon Eugene Combs and one on the way; the father of her children, Dale Whetstone of Carmi, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Paulette Whetstone, 56, of Carmi will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Private burial will be in White County Memorial Garden in Carmi.
