Patsy O'Neal

 Patsy Ann O'Neal, 91, of Norris City, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi. She was born on October 9, 1932, the daughter of Delbert and Mabel (Pearce) Downen. Patsy married Rev. S. E. Williams on April 24, 1952, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1999. She later married Harrell Eugene O'Neal in 1999, and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2021. Patsy worked as a beautician and owned Country Charm salon. She had also taught cosmetology at Olney Central College. Patsy was a member of First Baptist Church in Carmi. She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and liked to crochet.

     Patsy is survived by her son, Gene (Kim) Williams of Norris City, IL; a step-son, Harold (Janet) O'Neal; grandchildren, Jared (Dianna) Williams and Justin (Ashton) Williams; step-grandchildren, Crystal (Kent) Anderson, Robin (Gary ‘Dink’) Nichols, Stacey (Ken) Miller-Pettijohn and Amy (Jason) Craig, Lance (Robbie) Sloan, Mitzi Sloan, Bryan O'Neal, Lindsey (Cody) Abby, Adam O'Neal and Zach O'Neal; great-grandchildren, Journee, Cheyenne, Jeb, Jacob and Liza Williams; step-great-grandchildren, Afton (Derek) Kennedy, Grant (Kristen) Anderson, Sawyer (Amber) Nichols, Haley (Brent) Edwards, Chaselyn (Austin) Bain and Cooper Craig; a brother, John Downen of Mt. Vernon, IL and several nieces and nephews.. Patsy was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Williams; a step-grandchild, Mitchell Sloan; and a brother Hugh Downen.

     Funeral services for Patsy O'Neal will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, with burial at Enfield Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Patsy's memory to the Baptist Children's Home, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City or mailed to 609 W.
