Patrick Marlin
March 17, 1941 — July 14, 2013
Patrick Marlin, 72, of Norris City, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 9:10 a.m. at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. He was born March 17, 1941 in Harrisburg, IL, the son of Arthur Hines and Eleanor Alice (Wheeland) Marlin. Patrick was a teacher and had been a member of the Peace Corp in Samoa. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Norris City.
Survivors include a sister, Amy Whittington of Aurora, IL and close friends, Charlie and Anna Vaughan and Theresa Worley all of Norris City. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jon Michael Marlin.
Private funeral services for Patrick Marlin, 72, of Norris City, will be held at a later date with burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Campbell Funeral Home of Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
