Oliver Finnell

Oscar Walter Finnell, 91 of New Harmony, passed away early Sunday morning June 3, 2018 at Premier Healthcare of New Hamony. He was born August 11, 1926 in New Harmony, the son of Walter Oscar and Mildred Louis (Hyatt) Finnell.

Oscar was a fun loving man who loved his family.

He is survived by his great niece and nephews, Cindy (Rick) Renschler and Mark (Karla) Hyatt and Patrick (Jamie) Hyatt; his guardian and friend, Angela Goedde. He was preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday June 12, 2018 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
