Morris Simpson

Morris Edward Simpson, 93, of Norris City, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi.  He was born on November 27, 1928, the son of Ernest Simpson.  Morris married Alma Loretta Collins and she preceded him in death. Morris proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He was a truck driver and worked For F.S. Morris enjoyed caring for and riding horses with his wife and family.

Morris is survived by two children, Morris Ray Simpson of Philadelphia, PA, and Frances Simpson of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Elise Razo, Jody Becker and Mandy Jo Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife, Alma Loretta Simpson, he is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Tammy Lynn Becker.

Private services for Morris Edward Simpson will be held at a later date.  Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
