Michael Cies
April 20, 1963 — March 19, 2018
Michael Wade Cies, 54, of Carmi, passed away at 3:47 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born in McLeansboro, IL on April 20, 1963 the son of Jerry and Virginia Cies. Michael served as a crane operator in the US Army. He had previously worked as a chef.
Surviving is a son, Xavier (Jessica Loos) Cies, of Peoria, IL and a grandson, Zaccahriah Cies.
A memorial gathering will be held at 3pm, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Burrell's Woods. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
