Mary Linda Wheeler

   Mary Linda (Sullivan) Wheeler, 82, of New Haven passed away on March 10, 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN. She was born on December 24, 1943 in Grayville the daughter of J.D. and Mamie Lee (Harris) Sullivan. Linda married John C. Wheeler in 2001, and they shared over 25 years of marriage together. She was a nurse at Good Samaritan and worked with the FBI in Washington D.C. Linda also enjoyed gardening in her free time.

   Linda is survived by her husband of 25 years, John C. Wheeler of New Haven; daughter, Heather Taylor; grandchildren, Kara and Ezra; sister, Jane Risley. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Hall; siblings, Maranna Fritz, Charles Sullivan, and Thomas Sullivan.

   Graveside funeral services and burial for Mary Linda (Sullivan) Wheeler, 82, will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Crossville. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Stokes Chapel Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is assisting the family with arrangements.
