Mark L. Hall, 65, of Carmi, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 9:02 a.m. at his home. He was born May 25, 1948 in Carmi, IL, the son of Carson and Mary Ellen (Wampler) Hall. Mark was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a longtime dispatcher for the White County Sherriff's Office in Carmi.
Mark is survived by a brother, John Hall of North Carolina; and half sisters, Pauline Johnson of Marion, IL and Lorene Wagneck of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Hall; two half brothers, Bruce and Herman Hall; and a half sister, Beatrice Myers.
Graveside funeral and burial services for Mark L. Hall, 65, of Carmi, will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Centerville Cemetery near Carmi with Rev. Harold Meriwether officiating. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
