LuVeda McGhee

LuVeda R. McGhee 89 of Enfield, passed away January 2, 2021 at her home. She was born October 4, 1931 in Equality, the daughter of Richard and Gertrude Woods. She married Arthur “Barefoot” McGhee in 1948 and he preceded her in death.

LuVeda was a homemaker. She also worked alongside her husband “Barefoot” raising and selling watermelons.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Jane (Donald) Miller; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sons, Jewell Arthur McGhee and Thomas Ray Peerman; brother, Woody Woods and sister, Neomi Bell.
