Louis Renshaw
May 19, 1922 — January 28, 2013
Louis Robert "Pete" Renshaw, 90, of Carmi passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at 9:25 p.m. at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. Pete was born May 19, 1922 in Mill Shoals, IL the son of Elvis Frank and Lula (Burrell) Renshaw. He worked as a farmer, for the City of Carmi at the Light Plant and after retirement mowed yards. Pete was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carmi and was an avid Cardinal and Bulldog fan, where he was voted the Dawgs #1 fan.
Pete is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Howard J. Churchwell of Carmi; two grandchildren, Laura Healy of Norris City and John A. Procter of Chapel Hill, NC; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Grant and three brothers, Rev. Carrol Renshaw, Charles V. Renshaw and Cloyd Renshaw.
There will be no services. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
