Lonnie "Zo" Trout, 61, of Browns passed away at 3:26 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born in Carmi, IL on May 26, 1960 the son of Wilford Carl and Nola May (Trafford) Trout. Lonnie graduated from Crossville High School in 1978. Lonnie married Telia D, Evans on February 14, 2003. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching Nascar, football and the St. Louis Cardinals. Lonnie loved spending his weekends country cruising with his wife and son.
Lonnie is survived by his wife of 18 years, Telia of Browns; son, Tyler Trout of Browns; three sisters, Dora Smith of Grayville, Connie (Kenny) Dill of Carmi and Clara Shearf of Carmi; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Evans of Albion; brother-in-law, Chad (Julie) Evans of Grayville; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Nola Trout, four sisters, Arledia Knight, Betty Barnes, Dottie Barlow and Mary Ann Downs, and a brother, Albert Carl Trout.
Services for Lonnie "Zo" Trout, 61, of Browns will be private with burial in Kuykendall Cemetery in Carmi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lonnie's memory to Stendeback Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses. Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
