Lindley Ellis

Lindley Ray Ellis, 53, of Carmi passed away on Sunday August 23, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.  He was born on August 26, 1966, the son of Monty and Patricia (McCormick) Ellis.  Lindley graduated from Carmi High School in 1985.  He did industrial pressure washing for many years for many different companies, the most recent being Tri State Industrial. Lindley enjoyed being around people and was an outgoing person.  He really enjoyed working with ESDA and volunteering his services during the annual White County Fair.

Lindley is survived by his brothers, Marty, Paul, Erik and Steve Ellis;  his sister Angie (Harlan) Blazier and numerous neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Services for LIndley Ray Ellis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 28, 2020 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lindley's name  to Campbell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
