Lilly Ann Stokes

   Lilly Ann Stokes, 65, of Norris City passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on January 30, 1961 in Saline County the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Gordon) Seely. Lilly married Michael Glenn Stokes on November 22, 1976 and they shared almost 50 years of marriage together. She loved watching MASH, playing Bingo, fishing, camping, and boating.

   Lilly is survived by her husband, Mike Stokes; children, Penny (William) Schultz of Norris City and Amy Stokes of Springfield, IL; grandchildren, Timothy Wilhelm, Jonathan Wilhelm, Joshua Wilhelm, Tara Raney, and Justin Raney; seven great-grandchildren; son-in-law, James Wilhelm; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruth Seely; daughter, Helen Wilhelm; siblings, Mark Seely, Phillip Seely, and Smokey Seely; and one grandchild, Christopher A. Wilhelm.

   Graveside services are pending, but will be held in Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with services and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821 or by Venmo @jordanfuneralgroup. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is assisting the family with arrangements.
