Larry Gene Chapman, 65, of Carmi, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1:40 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, IL. He was born October 14, 1951 in Carmi, the son of Gene Dale Chapman and Fern (Austin) Lee. He was a farmer and served at Emma Township Road Commissioner for 20 years.
Larry is survived by a son, Matthew Chapman of Carmi; a daughter, Heather Chapman-Browning of Carmi; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Stan Moore of Carmi; one granddaughter and a great-grandson.
Per Larry's wishes to no formal service will be held. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
