   Kenneth “Whip” H. Wilson, 83, of Crossville, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville, IN. He was born November 15, 1942, in Henderson, KY, to Otho and Susie (Gibson) Wilson. In his younger years, Whip enlisted in the Army Reserves and later worked in the coal mines. He married Anna Louise Wilson on April 10, 1972, and spent 49 wonderful years together before her passing. He was a member of the Carmi VFW, the Legion, and the 40 & 8, where he participated with the parade train. Whip enjoyed watching NASCAR and country westerns.

   Whip is survived by his sister, Helen (Barry) Girten of Crossville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Susie Wilson; wife, Louise Wilson; brothers, Willie, Don, Gene, Bobby, and Butch; sisters, Edna and Lucille.

   Funeral Services for Kenneth “Whip” H. Wilson, 83, of Crossville will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be held in Phillipstown Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
