Karen Ann (Robinson) Cox, 69 of Mt. Vernon made her journey home on Saturday April, 21, 2018, at her home surrounded by loving family.

Ann was born October 30, 1948 in Gadsden County, Florida, to Joseph (J.L.) and Addie Pearl (Hobbs) Robinson. Ann and her family moved to Point Township when she was 17 where she met her husband of 52 years Kenneth (KC) Cox.  Ann was a devout Christian woman who was very involved in the church and a devoted wife and mother to her family and friends. Ann could often be found tending to her flowers and garden for which she had a passion for, or her other great talent of cooking home cooked meals for her loved ones. Ann was a member of Harvestime Temple.

Ann is survived by her husband, daughters Tammy (Cecil) Arbary and Jennifer (Mark) Kiger, both from Mt. Vernon; son Michael (Colleen) Cox of Lakewood, WA; grandchildren April (Louis) Riecken, Mollie (Max) Beloat, Hanna Kiger, Joshua Arbary, Nathanial Cox; 2 great-grandchildren Nevaeh Riecken and Ella Beloat; brothers Jim (Pam) Robinson of Mt. Vernon, Joe (Andrea) Robinson of Indianapolis; sisters Penny (Steve) Capes of Mt. Vernon and Janice Tomlinson (Larry) of Henderson, Ky: several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at Harvestime on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mark Tabor and Rev. Troy DeKemper officiating; burial at the Weiss Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 24 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Deaconess Hospice or Alzheimer’s Research.
