Karen Sue (Nash) Brown, 54, of Norris City, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born on February 16, 1968, the daughter of Larry Michael and Vera Ann (Pate) Nash. She married Timothy Brown and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2016. Karen worked as a truck driver for Penske in Princeton, Indiana.
Karen is survived by her children, Nikki (Brandon) Jacobs of Crossville, IL, Ashley (Cory Vance) Paul of Mt. Vernon, IN, Timothy Brown of Norris City, IL, Haley (Andrew VanMatre) Brown of Grayville, IL. and step-daughter, Sarah Brown; grandchildren, Jack Brown and Alley Paul; siblings, Lesa Ann Starnes of MS. Larry Michael Nash Jr. of Evansville, IN, Linda Pedrotti of Mt. Vernon, IN, Nancy Nash of Mt. Vernon, IN, and a half brother, Joshua Nash of Mt. Carmel, IL; her companion John Healy of Norris City, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Timothy Brown, Karen is preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Gilbert Nash, Frank and Ruth (Edge/Nash) Graham, and Troy Pate, Glenn and Mildred (Hurst/Pate) Whitley
A graveside service celebrating the life of Karen Sue (Nash) Brown, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Bruce Chapel Cemetery in Carmi, IL.
Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of the arrangements.
