Judith L. Fleck

   Judith “Judy” Lee (Brooks) Fleck, 84, of Carmi passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Wabash Senior Living and Rehab in Carmi. She was born on August 3, 1941 in Carmi, the daughter of Leland and Madge (Young) Brooks. Judy was a member of the First Methodist Church in Carmi. She had worked as an aide at White County Nursing Home and later a caregiver with Addus Healthcare Home Health. Judy loved to draw, paint, read, and listen to music. In her younger years she loved horses and going to the horse barn and Saddle Club with her dad.

   Judy is survived by her children, Kevin (Teresa) Stocke of Carmi, Kent (Linda) Stocke of Carmi, and Krista (Troy Billings) Stocke of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Jake (Aylssa) Stocke, Ariel (Shane) Allen, Ethan Prather, Natalie Waddle, and Sarah Russell; great-grandchildren, Ruby Stocke, Hattie Stocke, Lucy Stocke, and Oliver Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bart Brooks, and very close friend, Sandy Slay.

   Funeral Services for Judith “Judy” L. Fleck, 84, of Carmi will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will follow at Kuykendall Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s memory to Pets at Risk and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
