Norris City
John Rules Evans, 74, of Norris City passed away on February 2, 2026. He was born on May 15, 1951 in Peoria, IL the son of Bob Evans and Burldeen (Blake) Watt. John owned/operated a siding and window business. He had attended Norris City General Baptist Church. John loved to go fishing and be outdoors.
John is survived by his longtime companion, Kathy McGill; three children; brother, Carlos Watt. He was preceded in death by his parents, one child, and two siblings, Wayne Watt and Brenda Bryant.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Norris City General Baptist Church.
