Jerry Daniel Jones, 32, of Mt. Vernon died 11:48 PM Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Danny was a production worker at Toyota Manufacturing in Princeton, IN and was a Volunteer Fireman with the Mt. Vernon Fire Department. Danny was a member of the Mt. Vernon Eagles Lodge and an avid outdoorsman.
Danny is survived by his wife, Christi (King) Jones of Mt. Vernon. They were married May 29, 1993. He is also survived by his son, Zachary Michael Jones, his mother, Betty Johnson of Mt. Vernon, IN, a brother, John Jones of Mt. Vernon, three sisters, Lori McDonnough and Belinda Jones of Mt. Vernon and Amanda Abel of Elizabethtown, PA
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Rev. Tom Buffington and Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, September 6, 2004 at the funeral home.
