Jerrod Paul Farny

    Jerrod Paul Farny, 47 of Carmi, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1976, in Wooster, OH, the Son of Gordon and Dolly (South) Farny. Jerrod enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, hunting, fishing and playing basketball and baseball. He belonged to the Maunie River Rats.

   Survivors include, his children, Josie Lynn (Joey) Jackson of McLeansboro, IL and Benjamin Steele of Maunie, IL; grandchildren, Gracie, Brantley and JD and brothers Jeremy (Becky) Farny of Dahlgren, IL, and Jason (Leann) Farny of Mt. Vernon, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jamie Farny.

   Private family services celebrating the life of Jerrod Paul Farny will be held later. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of the arrangements.
