Helen I. Renshaw, 93 of Enfield passed away Friday October 13, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was born June 19, 1924 in Mill Shoals, the daughter of Matt and Aileen (Hendershott) Thomas. She married Chester Renshaw on January 19, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1992.
Helen was a homemaker, she loved her family. She was a member of the Enfield United Methodist Church and had been active in the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her son, Bill (Shirley) Renshaw of McLeansboro; grandchildren, Pam (Brad) Miller and Julie (Larry) Ellison; great grandchildren, Caleb (Magen) Miller and Emily (Cory) Skelton; great-great-grandchildren, Paisley, Kayden, Karsyn and Cooper. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Renshaw; brother, Harold Thomas and sister, Pauline Williams.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday October 16, 2017 at Enfield Cemetery with Ron Lamp officiating. No prior visitation will be held. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
