Golda Mae Brent

       Golda Mae Brent, 87, of Wasilla, Alaska passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Primrose Retirement Community in Wasilla, AK. She was born in Wayne County, IL on September 22, 1935 the daughter of Frank Edward and Julia Marie (Scott) Chrisman. Golda Mae married Ivan Owen Brent on June 6, 1953 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2010.

    Golda Mae is survived by two sons, Ivan Owen (Shirley) Brent, Jr. of Homosassa, FL and Michael Stanley (Debra) Brent of Bonanza, OR; a sister, Marietta Enyart of Louisville, IL; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three siblings, Martha Maxine Gregory, Arthur Chrisman and Marie Naney.

   Graveside funeral services and burial for Golda Mae Brent will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Scott Cemetery in Mt. Erie, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Golda Mae's memory to Primrose Retirement Community of Wasilla, 889 Elkhorn Dr., Wasilla, AK 99654 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
