George Morris
June 27, 1946 — November 7, 2021
George Edward Morris, 75, of Carmi, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was born on June 27, 1946, the son of Bert and Birtie (Ryan) Morris. George worked as a mechanic over the years and enjoyed working on cars.
George is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Andy) Bartley of Carmi, IL; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Susie Rose of Evansville, IN, and Ruth Pate of Evansville, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Elmer Morris.
A memorial service for George Morris, will be held at a later date. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
