Gary Frashier

Gary Lynn Frashier, 69, of Maunie, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.  He was born in Fairfield, Illinois, on March 2, 1953, the son of Everett Glenn and Ella Lou (Atteberry) Frashier.  Gary married Rita Lynn Wasson on July 6, 1985, in New Harmony, Indiana, and she survives.  He worked at Trelleborg in Carmi, Illinois for 42 years.  Gary enjoyed spending time with family and hunting.

In addition to his wife, Rita Frashier of Maunie, IL, Gary is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Josh Watkins) Frashier of Carmi, IL; a grandson, Kyler Watkins of Carmi, IL; siblings, Terry (Mandella) Frashier of Maunie, IL, and Patty Delong of Maunie, IL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Gary Frashier, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will follow at Marshall Ferry Cemetery in Rising Sun, IL.  Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
