Eugenia Blackwood

Eugenia Blackwood, 92, of Norris City, passed away at 8:47 a.m., Monday, September 30, 2019 at Wabash Christian Village. She was born in Rumsey, KY on January 1, 1927 the daughter of Curtis and Bessie (Holmes) Huff. Eugenia was married to Merle Lopp and he preceded her in death in 1985 She then married Roy J. Blackwood on July 12, 1993. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of God in Norris City. Eugenia was a preacher with the Church of God for close to 60 years.

Eugenia is survived by her husband, Roy; four daughters, Connie (Kenneth) Thomas, of Enfield, Merlene (Carl, II) Mann and Diane DeGraffenreid, both of Newburgh, IN and Rebecca (Elvis) Andrews, of Evansville, IN; three brothers, Jim, Jack and Robert Huff; sister, Versal Osman; 8 grandchildren, Shelly (Mel) Spence, Barbara (Brian) Scroggins, Charlotte (Scott) Barton, Carl (Kim) Mann, III, Clint (Paula) Mann, Rob (Priscilla) DeGraffenreid, Brad (Amy) DeGraffenreid, and Carri (Rick) West; 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, Robert DeGraffenreid, a brother, Roger Huff and a sister, Audrey Marcrum.

Funeral services for Eugenia Blackwood, 92, of Norris City, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Church of God in Norris City. Burial will be in Old Sharon Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City and from noon until service time on Friday at the Church of God in Norris City. Memorial contributions may be made in Eugenia's memory to the Church of God in Norris City and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
