Ellen Bratcher
June 9, 1946 — January 24, 2020
Ellen M. Bratcher 73 of Carmi, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born June 9, 1946 in Enfield, the daughter of Lewis E. and Reba Fern (Newman) Williams. She married James Ronald Bratcher and he proceeded her in death on February 9, 2018.
Ellen was a registered nurse and worked at New Harmony Healthcare for 20 years. She enjoyed painting and making jewelry in her spare time. She was a member of the Enfield Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheri (Daniel) Dexter, Rebecca Carter and Jessica Bratcher; son, Kameron Bratcher; sister, Sharon (Tex) Usery; Jami Rhodes and 4 other grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
