Eddie D. Allen

   Eddie D. Allen,75, of Grayville passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his residence in Grayville. He was born on January 28, 1950 in Cypress, IL the son of Warren D. and Jean (Deadmen) Allen. Eddie married Blanch (Cox) Allen on May 8, 1975 and they shared over 50 years of marriage together. He worked in the oilfield for Clyde Mason and drove a truck for several different companies. Eddie was also a former member of the Grayville Fire Department and Civil Defense. His favorite way to spend his free time was drawing.

   Eddie is survived by his wife, Blanch Allen of Grayville; children, John (Stacy) Allen of West Salem, IL, Barney Allen of Bone Gap, IL, and Jennifer Greifzu of Albion, IL; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

   In keeping with Eddie’s wishes no services will be held for Eddie D. Allen, 75, of Grayville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eddie’s memory to Grayville Senior Citizens and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home 609 W. Main Street Carmi, Il 62821, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
