Douglas "Doug" Austin, 50, of Crossville, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 12:32 p.m. at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. He was born on September 21, 1965 in Carmi, the son of Jeanne Hollingsworth. Doug graduated from Johnson Wales University in Providence, RI with a bachlor's degree and worked in marketing.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanne English of Crossville; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Shook of Carmi.
Graveside services and burial for Douglas "Doug" Austin, 50, of Crossville, will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Rice Cemetery in Norris City. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
