Douglas Alan "Doug" Brown, 51, of Carmi passed away at 9:35a.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Carmi on January 25, 1966 the son of Clyde Edmond and Marjorie Jean (Harlan) Brown. He was a 1984 graduate of Carmi High School. Doug was a sales representative for Innospec Oilfield Services and previously worked at Dillman Service Inc for 20 years.
Doug is survived by a daughter, Brianna Brown of Evansville, IN; son, Aaron (Danielle) Brown of Evansville, IN; father, Clyde Brown of Carmi; sister, Kay (Mike) Loomis of Carmi; two nieces, Megan (Matt) Campbell of Carmi and Katie (Matt) Whetstone of Newburgh, IN; two grandchildren, Asher and Declan Brown. He was preceded in death by his mother Jean Brown and a nephew Joshua Loomis.
Funeral services for Douglas Alan "Doug" Brown, 51, of Carmi will be at 2:00p.m., Friday, March 17, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Doug's memory to a Charity of Donor's Choice and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
