Donna McCord

      Donna Jean McCord, 76, of Carmi, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. She was born on May 7, 1947, in Carmi, Illinois, the daughter of Archie and Lillian (Mick) Brown. She was a 1965 graduate of Carmi Township High School. Donna worked as the Office Manager at Browns Feed and Chemical. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas and shopping.

     Donna is survived by her children, Tammi (Jason) Crossett of Cadiz, KY. and Amy Allen of Carmi, IL; grandchildren, Autumn Rapp and Trenton Belford; the father of her children, Roy McCord; siblings, Mike (Jeannie) Brown and Gary (Marilyn) Brown; nieces and nephews, Angie Willis, Sherri Ward, Greg Brown, Jeff Brown and Gerry Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Roy McCord, Jr.

   Funeral services for Donna McCord will be held at a later date, with burial at North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi or mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
