Don K. Whitfield

Don K. "Keith" Whitfield, 65, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at his home on Wednesday morning, October 17, 2018.  He was born on July 13, 1953, in Lawton, OK, the son of Donald and Flora (Stevens) Whitfield.  He married Judy on April 11, 1994 in Henderson, KY and she survives.

Keith was a self-employed, salesman and promotional speaker.

In addition to his wife, Judy,  he is survived by his mother, Flora;  sons, Joe Pulaski, Patrick Carron, Jonathon Whitfield, Michael Carron, Isaac Carron, Timothy Whitfield, Ryan Hicks and Tobius Whitfield; daughters, Lindsay Carlisle, Miranda Carron, Richelle Whitfield, Stephanie Whitfield and Tiffany Whitfield; thirty-nine grandchildren; sisters, Suzie Wheeler and Kaye Trout.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.  Services will be held at 6.  The family wishes to thank Southern Care Hospice for their excellent care.  Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
